Like many premies, little Ryker (my little nephew) is experiencing some difficulty with lung development and breathing. He's in our prayers and thoughts and hope that the wonderful staff up at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY take special care of the little guy. All prayers and good thoughts will help.

Thank you! Ryker is doing well after 16 days in the NICU. Still having breathing issues when he's asleep and when he's bottle feeding overnight (when I'm not there) but at some point soon it will all click and we will be able to take him home. Hoping for later next week but we'll see - he is still really only 35 weeks old. He is entitled to have a few issues.
