Asparagus and Noodles for Babies

Here's a delicious and healthy meal for little ones learning to eat more and more foods! I started with this meal for Dane when he was a baby and now he's eating asparagus whenever it's around!

1 cup uncooked fusilli pasta (or 2 cups cooked, very well done)
5 stalks asparagus, cleaned and cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks
2 tablespoons cream, breast milk or formula
some water to loosen puree if necessary

See video to learn how to put it all together!

Sounds yummy! My son is such a picky eater. He is twelve months old. Last night I gave him sweet potatoes and he made a horrible face. So, then I tried butternut squash and he started to cry!! I had to resort back to the yogurt and applesauce. The sure things.

Ha! This is soooo common! Try the noodles (do wheat pasta). Does he eat butter? If so, add a little butter and maybe you can hide some veggies in there somehow (most of the scoop is noodles or rice cereal, then put a little tiny bit of the new food next to the stand-bys....
